Ohio Department of Agriculture Ombudsman Policy

OMBUDSMAN POLICY FOR THE
OHIO DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE

Pursuant to Executive Order 2008-04S, the Department of Agriculture (ODA) has established a Regulatory Ombudsman Program. The ODA Ombudsman Program employs an ombudsman in each of the Regulatory Divisions who will coordinate with the Department Ombudsman to help resolve concerns raised by regulated entities about the implementation of ODA rules. The Ombudsman Program is intended to be used only after the regulated entity first attempts to resolve a regulatory matter through normal agency processes. Set forth below is a listing of the Regulatory Divisions. We cannot guarantee that all matters will be resolved to your satisfaction, but we will strive to assure that your concerns and issues receive our attention. Thank you very much for your cooperation and understanding.
