Ohio Department of Agriculture Emerald Ash Borer Program

Ash Tree Identification


Emerald Ash Borer is only known to affect ash species (Fraxinus) of trees. However, this does not include mountain ash because they are not an ash species. It is important before reporting signs of EAB to be sure you have an ash tree. The links below will help you make that determination.
