Farmland Preservation Advocates:
We are pleased to announce the Clean Ohio Agricultural Easement Purchase Program
(AEPP). As we enter the ninth year for purchasing agricultural easements from willing landowners, please note a couple changes that may modulate
the way you answer questions and complete your application:
-
2010 Guidelines and Policies - This document outlines the
rules for the 2010 Clean Ohio AEPP funding round. Each year is unique, therefore it is most important for all involved parties
to read over this document and understand the 2010 policies and guidelines.
-
Advisory Board Scoring Guide - For those curious about
how the Farmland Preservation Advisory Board works, this guideline lays out the standards for fund disbursement and includes the
scoring rubric for the Tier Two questions.
-
Local Sponsor Handbook - provides detailed information
regarding the need for farmland preservation, the application process, finalist selection, and easement placement. NOTE: This is
a great resource for old and new sponsors.
-
FAQ for Local Sponsors - answers questions about the
application process and shares the answers with other local sponsors across the state using the newly-implemented FAQ page.
-
Submitting a Successful Application - This power
point is available for you to review and use during the when you prepare the applications.
-
Local Sponsor Meeting, January 28, , 10 a.m. to noon, Plant Industry Building,
ODA - a meeting geared toward local sponsors who are not familiar with the online
application or those who would like to review how to put together an application. Those
interested should RSVP to farmlandpres@agri.ohio.gov or by calling 614-728-6210.
