Please be advised that this is not the official application from the
AEPP. As this is not an application, the information submitted by the user will
in no way be applied toward any future application to the AEPP.
The Ohio General Assembly has created a two tier ranking system for selecting
farms under this program: Tier One (100 possible points) and Tier Two (50
possible points). The purpose of this informational tool is only to provide
interested landowners and local sponsors with an estimate of what the
total score of the objective Tier One Score of an application to the
funding round of the AEPP may be. This tool does not provide an estimate
for the subjective Tier Two score of any potential application.
The primary scoring mechanism of the AEPP application is the Tier One Scoring,
which is based upon a maximum possible score of 100 points. The Tier One
scoring is comprised of the following 6 sections:
-
Proximity of farm
to other Protected Land.
-
Development
Pressure on farm.
-
Other Factors.
-
Local
Government's Comprehensive Planning.
-
Conservation Plan
of farm.
-
Farm's Soil Type
and Productivity.
